Files

Files are a useful way to provide additional context to a Language Model. Context can be anything from a lengthy document, a story, a research paper, etc.

Supported formats are .txt, .csv, .pdf, .md.

Using files in Prompt Studio

To use your file as part of a prompt, type / in the prompt editor and upload your file.

When you add a file to a prompt, its content is added in-line with the rest of the prompt.

Adding file references

Within the same Promptbook, if you upload a file and use it in a step, the file content is available only inside that step. If you want to re-use this file in another step, you need to reference the file by typing, e.g., /.
